David K. Sorensen, ChFC, CLU has earned his reputation as delivering excellence as a financial services professional. Mr. Sorensen earned his Bachelor’s degree from Taylor University and his Masters degree from Ball State University.
Dave has been helping financial advisors meet their personal and financial objectives since 1972. As President and CEO of Legacy Financial, Dave's goal is to help advisors achieve clarity and results where their lives intersect their careers.
He has served in such roles as chairman of the Southern Wisconsin Business Ethics Award, and President of the Madison Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. In addition, Dave has been a Financial Services Professional Education Instructor for over 20 years, conducting seminars and continuing education courses for financial advisors.
When he’s not working, Dave is active in his community, church and youth activities, and is an avid sailor. Most of all, he is devoted to his family. Dave and his wife, Joan, have been married for over 35 years. They are the parents of five terrific children, and proud grandparents of three.

Kyle J. Sorensen’s focus at Legacy Financial is growth. As the spearhead of Legacy’s Business Development efforts, Kyle, who is completing a degree in Business Administration, has a passion for growing an organization whose goal is to see growth in its advisors.
Outside of work, Kyle, a lifelong hockey player (and high school coach), is a newlywed, and enjoys his hometown, Madison, its local eateries, sporting events, golf, and his middle-school sweetheart, Christine.

Cammie D. Sorensen is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies. She loves a challenge, and seeing problems through to solutions. Cammie joined her dad in business in 2005 and has never looked back.
When she’s not working, Cammie enjoys travel, time with friends and family, and the outdoors. Cammie is also committed to volunteerism, and has enjoyed serving on the board of non-profit organization Poverty Stops Here, is an active member of the Junior League of Madison, and has spent time serving the women and children of Beacon of Hope in Kenya.

Christine M. Sorensen is a graduate of Edgewood College in Madison, WI with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Therapy with a minor in Psychology. She thrives on personal interaction and genuinely enjoys helping people. Christine joined Legacy Financial this past June, shortly after marrying her middle-school sweetheart , Kyle.
In her free time, Christine enjoys cooking and baking, traveling with family and friends, and exploring the local eateries Madison has to offer. Christine has a strong passion for creating art and working with people. Using art as the medium, she has led Veterans, at-risk youth and cognitively disabled adults in personal expression activities.

Shauna M. Riggs is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she recently earned Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Shauna joined Legacy as an intern in November 2010.
Ms. Riggs grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin, and has enjoyed exploring Madison during her time at the university. She loves softball, and led in founding and hosting the 1st Annual Big Ten Club Softball Tournament, as a member of UW's Club Softball Team.
